We compare bet count share against handle share on both sides of every market. A gap wide enough to imply concentrated large wagers triggers the Sharp Money badge.
2. Direction check
If the number has moved toward the minority-ticket side, the alert is upgraded with a reverse line movement flag — the strongest public evidence of respected action.
3. Book sequencing
Each market keeps per-book history, so an alert also tells you which book moved first and whether the rest of the market followed or held.
